Airport Luggage Transfer at Disney
Make your travel simpler with Airport Luggage Transfer at Disney®. This complimentary service is available for departing Customers staying at one of the select Disney Resort hotels listed below.
It’s as easy as 1-2-3:
- The day before your departure, check in for your Southwest Airlines® flight online.
- Drop off your bags at Luggage Assistance in the Resort hotel lobby area by the required drop off time. Please be aware that you will need to provide a valid form of photo identification in order to drop off your bags. You can also call Luggage Assistance from your in-room telephone to ask for help with your bags.
- Head to the airport, skip the check-in line, enjoy your flight, and pick up your bags at baggage claim when you arrive at your destination.

There’s a separate ticket counter for select U.S. destinations
If your final destination is listed below, check your bags at the ticket counter for Northeast flights. Follow the signs that say, “Northeast Flights”.
Included destinations:
ALB, ATL, BDL, BOS, BUF, BWI, DCA, FLL, IAD, ISP, LGA, MHT, ORF, PHL, PIT, PVD, PWM, RDU, RIC, ROC, or SYR
For all other destinations, please use the main ticket counter.
Weekend bag drop
Flying on the weekend? Dropped off early after your cruise? Take advantage of an additional bag drop. Located in Terminal B, Level 1 by bus spaces B20-22. Look for our sign and check bags more than two hours before your departure.
Open Friday-Monday from 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
How early can I check bags?
Checked baggage will be accepted at the ticket counter no earlier than four hours ahead of your flight’s scheduled departure time.
To check bags more than four hours ahead of your flight’s scheduled departure time, take advantage of an additional bag drop. Located in Terminal B, Level 1 by bus spaces B20-22. Open Friday-Monday from 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
