Information regarding travel restrictions, entry requirements, weather advisories, and other factors that may affect your travel plans.
Customers holding reservations to, from or connecting at Washington (Reagan National), D.C. - DCA on January 29 or 30 may alter their travel plans by rebooking or traveling standby without additional charges. Customers must travel within 14 days of their original travel date and between the original city pairs, in accordance with our accommodation policies.
Customers will be eligible to refund any unused portions of a ticket if their flight is canceled or significantly delayed by Southwest and they choose not to travel. To offer Customers maximum flexibility, travel scheduled to/from DCA during this time period may elect to change their departure or origination to Baltimore/Washington, MD - BWI or Washington (Dulles), D.C. - IAD, at no additional charge.
Additionally, if your flight is canceled or significantly delayed by Southwest and you choose to cancel your trip as a result, you may be eligible for a refund for the unused ticket (even if your ticket was non-refundable) and any Optional Travel Charges (such as EarlyBird or Upgraded Boarding) you paid for the flight(s) on which you don’t travel. Customers who purchased their flights via Southwest.com or our mobile app or by calling Southwest Airlines are eligible to reschedule their travel plans online or from their mobile device.
